Police continue to seek information from a religious teacher with the initials MMS (52) who reportedly molested a number of his students in Depok City, West Java.

Yogen said that during the investigation, the perpetrators were cooperative and answered all the questions the investigators asked.
“Seen with the naked eye, it’s normal to answer all kinds of things, I think this person is normal,” he said.

“Not until (having sex), maybe because the victim is still small, so he doesn’t have sex,” he added.
Previously reported, the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Endra Zulpan, said that the disclosure of the perpetrator’s actions began when one of the number of victims reported the perpetrator’s barbaric actions to his parents.
Then, the victim’s parents told the incident to the other parents. Apparently, the parents of other students also got the same story from their children.

Zulpan said that the perpetrators invited the victims to the consultation room at the Taklim Council.
In that room, the perpetrators channel their depraved desires to the victims, the majority of whom are 10-15 years old.
“So these students are students who were taught the Koran by the suspect, huh. The time for the Koran is at 17.00 WIB in the afternoon until the end of Maghrib. There is a room in the Taklim Council that is used for consultations, and in that room the sexual abuse was carried out,” said Zulpan. Finance Solutions
“Regarding threats, minors can be pressured and threatened, so they are afraid to fight and are asked to hold their vital organs and other things that I can’t mention,” he added.
Zulpan said that up to now there have been 10 victims who reported the perpetrator’s deviant actions to the police.
This incident took place from October 2021 to December 2021.
Currently, the police have examined a number of witnesses and victims, post-mortem, and assistance through the Women and Children Protection Unit (PPA) of the Depok Police.
The perpetrators were charged with Article 76 Juncto 82 of the Criminal Code concerning child protection, with a penalty of 15 years in prison.
“For the actions of the perpetrators, investigators suspect that Article 76 in conjunction with Article 82 of the Criminal Code on child protection, carries a minimum penalty of five years and a maximum of 15 years with a maximum fine of IDR 5 billion,” he concluded.
Check 20 Witnesses
The Head of Criminal Investigation at the Depok Metro Police, AKBP Yogen Heroes Baruno, said that he had examined 20 witnesses related to the alleged immoral case by a Koran teacher in Depok City, West Java.
They include 10 witnesses from victims, parents and from the taklim assembly.
“After we record the names, we come to the taklim assembly, we come to the parents to give testimony regarding that,” said Yogen.
However, Yogen said that his party would continue to do further research considering the number of students involved in the incident reached tens.
It is feared that they will also become victims of the immoral acts of the perpetrators.
