A number of employees of the Corruption Eradication Commission who passed the National Insight Test (TWK) wrote to President Joko Widodo. They asked the President to cancel the results of the TWK which put 75 of his colleagues in danger of being fired.

The officials appealed to the President as the highest leader of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, as well as the holder of power in the policy of professional development and management of the State Civil Apparatus in accordance with Article 25 paragraph (1) of Law Number 5 of 2014 concerning ASN.
The employees also asked President Jokowi to order all KPK employees to change their status to ASN as mandated by Law Number 19 of 2019 concerning the KPK, Government Regulation Number 41 of 2020 and the Decree of the Constitutional Court, as well as presidential directives. Berita Hari ini
They also asked the President to order the postponement of the inauguration of employees as ASN which is planned to be carried out on June 1, 2021. The postponement is requested to be carried out until the problems that arise in the transition process are resolved.

They said they had tried to convey their opinions orally and in writing to the KPK leadership regarding the transition of status to ASN. However, this input was actually responded to by the issuance of a letter dated May 27, 2021 regarding the implementation of the inauguration of KPK employees as ASN on June 1, 2021.
“We are of the opinion that the planned inauguration on June 1, 2021 is detrimental to KPK employees, not in line with the direction of the President and the Constitutional Court Decision,” as quoted from the letter.
The employee who passed the TWK said that he had asked to postpone the inauguration process in the dialogue on May 28, 2021.
