France Donates 1.4 Million Vaccines to Indonesia

This vaccine dose sharing collaboration is distributed through the Covax Facility. Indonesia appreciates France’s support and commitment in increasing equal access to global vaccines.

“Thank you, France, for the support of 1,420,600 doses of Moderna vaccine which has arrived today, December 26, 2021, via Covax,” wrote the Twitter account @DitEropa1_kemlu on Sunday (12/26/2021). Berita Hari ini

He explained that this dose sharing collaboration reflects the commitment of the French government to support the vaccination program in Indonesia. This is in line with the statement made by the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs, Jean-Yves Le Drian, during his visit to Jakarta last November 24.

“Equitable global access to vaccines is very important to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic,” wrote the Twitter account @DitEropa1_kemmlu.

Previously, France had provided assistance with 4.8 million doses of the vaccine which was donated through several shipments between September and December 2021. Berita Politik
